This piece was created for the April 2013 “Icons and Influences” show at Ltd Gallery in Seattle. This is a tribute to Jim Henson’s Kermit the Frog (The Muppets). As a youth I remember placing many a frog or bug into a jar with a stick and a leaf for recreation and food. I’d let them go after enjoying their company for a little awhile. In retrospect, life in a jar is probably very boring.
