Forest Sprite Paint-Along, Part 1

I just started working on a “Paint-along” video and will update this with additional videos as I finish (scroll down for more videos).

You can use any materials you want and follow along, but I am using the following materials in this video. (If you have a local art store, please support it! If not, you can click the links below to Blick.com where I order most of my art supplies):

M. Graham Acrylic Paints (Raw Sienna, Burnt Sienna, Naples Yellow, Titanium White, Hookers Green, Turquoise) – (I will likely be using additional colors as well, but at the time I am writing this (part 2), this is all we have used so far).

Dick Blick Premier Stretched Canvas 5″ x 7″

Princeton Velvetouch Round Brush- Size 2, Short Handle, Synthetic (3950R, size 2)

Princeton Select Synthetic Brush – Filbert, Short Handle, Sizes 12 & 16

Princeton Select Synthetic Brush – Round, Short Handle, Size 4

Masterson Sta-Wet Handy Palette

Additional supplies I suggest grabbing if you are ordering:
• Grab some extra colors to play with – my favorite is M. Graham, though Golden has a couple colors that M. Graham does not, like “Primary Magenta” which is one of my favorites.

Golden’s Acrylic Glazing Liquid is something I use all the time and is fun to experiment with.

This is the spray varnish I usually use. Be sure and wait at least a few days after finishing your acrylic painting to varnish. The paint needs to fully cure first.
