I love participating in Spoke Art's group shows! You may have seen me mention the many Miyazaki-tribute and other themed shows I have been a part of, and more often than not it is with Spoke Art. This year the focus is on video games, and I picked the original Legend of Zelda, since that was one of the first games I played (after Super Mario and Duck Hunt) when my siblings and I got our NES as kids. Anyway, I will not be attending the opening in person, but I will have two new original paintings present and for sale (thru Spoke Art).

Boise Art Museum Art In The Park
Boise, ID
Free event at Julia Davis Park, right next to the Boise Art Museum. I love coming to Boise every year for Art in the Park, and seeing all my Idaho friends. I usually bring my oft-collaborator, Mike Capp, with me to help in the booth at this show, so if you are fan of our collaborative paintings, this is a good opportunity to meet and chat with him as well. On the other hand, if you don't like our collabs, this is a good chance to heckle both of us at once.

Easily one of my favorite events of the year, The Snohomish Studio Tour is a self-guided tour where you can visit the working studios of a variety of Snohomish-based Artists, and have a look behind-the-scenes. I host my oft-collaborator, Mike Capp, at my Studio each year, so he'll be here too. We'll have maps to guide you to the studios, and you can get your map stamped and turn it in for the chance to win a prize.
